Dear Morning Lavender, I think I am obsessed with you.
This online boutique offers beautiful, feminine styles that I can’t get enough of. I admittedly have spent way too much time browsing their site; I literally want every item they have for sale. I finally decided on a few pieces that I couldn’t live without. Here is what I bought:
Melanie Mauve Plaid Sleeveless Dress
I had to wait for this dress to be restocked in my size twice, and now I understand why it sold out so quickly. This dress is made of a very light sweater material with a large plaid print. It has an autumn vibe to it, but because we have had such a chilly spring its high neckline and warm feel are fitting. I love the shift cut, and it will go great with my suede jacket and nude heels.
Carly Twisty Sweater
This knit has my name on it, literally! It is a perfect balance of casual and classy; it sits comfortably on the shoulders and shows just enough back. This sweater is going to be just the thing I need for cool summer nights.
Sherrie Ivory Stripe Longsleeve Tie Top
Gotta have versatile pieces like this one! The stripes on this top are classic, and the playful bows will allow me to transition from work to play without missing a beat. For me, this top calls for a bold, red lip color.
Okay, I’m done gushing and will return to stalking the gorgeous tulle skirts on Morning Lavender’s website. Just waiting for an occasion, or excuse, rather, to purchase one!
Oh, I did make a size exchange on one of these items. It was an easy process and Morning Lavender’s customer service team promptly answered an inquiry I had. However, I had to pay to ship it back, which was a little disappointing as many boutiques offer free returns. Also, I was expecting a beautifully packaged box, but it came in a plain ol’ USPS bag. They did add a sprig of dried lavender to the shipment, which was a nice touch.
